PROPERTY Description

At least half of our guests have stayed with us before. Lakeside Villas Cottage is a beautiful two bedroom, two bath villa is located within the private gated beach community of Litchfield by the Sea at Pawleys Island. Just a short two-minute drive to the beach, this cottage offers a relaxing, quiet time at the beach with incredible ocean, salt marsh and lake surroundings. Don't forget about golf! There is an abundance of great golf courses within a very short drive.

This single level Lakeside Villa offers a scenic view that can be enjoyed from a spacious screened-in porch. This property has been totally remodeled including new furniture throughout. New kitchen appliances including washer dryer added Spring 2017.

Litchfield By the Sea provides seven professional grade clay lighted tennis courts, bike trails, a large swimming pool and 24 hour gated security. A Spa and fitness center is available. Golf is premiere here with 20 golf courses within a 15-minute drive and over 100 courses in the Myrtle Beach area.

The area has wonderful restaurants and quaint, unique shopping. Huntington Beach State Park, Brookgreen Gardens, Plantation tours, scenic rice fields with marsh vistas, gorgeous moss draped oak trees and gorgeous beaches embody the historic Pawleys Island area.

Great experience!

Brett was incredibly responsive throughout the rental process. Accessing the condo upon arrival was the easiest we've ever experienced...no need to stand in line at a check-in counter. The villa was very clean, well-maintained and we loved the coastal decor. It also had a very warm feeling...we felt right at home. Can't say enough about the Litchfield by the Sea Resort. The grounds are just beautiful especially in the spring. Very special thanks to Brett and his family for sharing their vacation home with us!

Feels like home!

My husband and I enjoyed the week in this great two bedroom, two bath villa with screened porch. This was our second stay in the villa which is located in the Litchfield By the Sea Resort - a beautifully landscaped resort with the ocean only minutes away from the front door. It had everything we needed or looked for. We enjoyed the screened porch, TVs, and well appointed kitchen. The owners are great to work with and respond to questions promptly. There are great restaurants close by, and Murrell's inlet and restaurants are within ten miles. All in all, a lovely vacation, and we felt at home.

Well equiped, beautifully furnished and decorated condo

Thank you for sharing your nicely decorated condo with us and other guests. The condo is very well equiped, clean and tidy. We loved the colors of the rooms and even though we had bad weather, we enjoyed being in the Lakeside Villa. We are quite sure that we will come back. We felt so at home and everything was just perfect !

Perfect Vacation Villa!

We arrived Friday to a perfectly polished Villa located on the Gorgeous Litchfield grounds. Brett had turned the AC on for us prior to our arrival as well which was much appreciated due to the warm weather that greeted us. It was perfectly located in relation to the touristy attractions of the area, but far enough away to make you feel like you were visiting a private beachside oasis. The villa was super cute, beachy, and comfortable! The screened in porch was perfect to relax on, and also to catch up on work. The fan gave it a nice touch and provided the perfect amount of breeze when mother nature was slacking in that department. The close proximity of the villa to the pool was clutch. It was far enough away that we didn't hear other guests but close enough we could walk our cooler over and enjoy the afternoon. We walked to Starbucks every morning to grab a coffee and enjoyed the grounds - the turtles are quite funny, look for them if you stay! The beach was absolutely gorgeous as well! We can't wait to venture back to sunny South Carolina and stay at this lovely VRBO property again. Thanks so much Cherie & Brett for the hospitality! It was much appreciated!

Villa was beautiful and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and great screened- in porch.

Very modern villa.

The villa is quite clean, and seems to be recently updated. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances. We mostly cook our own meals. This villa is a good spot for dining in. Many amenities are a short walk away. BiLo for groceries. Quigley's micro brewery for happy hour. LBTS restaurant, and pub. Short walk to lake fishing. Not a terrible walk to the beach. If you can bring along a bike, it's great to bike on the long beach Pawley's Inlet to Murrells Inlet. Nice rides inside of LBTS, and outside LBTS on the local bikeway. I have to admit May and September are our favorite months at Pawleys. The temperature is more moderate. The Ocean temperature is still quite warm in September. Beach fishing is no problem. And searching for shells is always fun. We had a great 2 week stay between the effects of 2 hurricanes (Irma and Maria).
