PROPERTY Description
Step into this brand new home and vacation rental for your next vacation! Conveniently located mid-way between West Jefferson and Boone (a mere 10 or so miles each way) in the quaint community of Todd, NC. There?s the famous Todd Mercantile and RiverGirl Fishing Company where you can rent canoes and paddle down the scenic New River, or rent a bike for a ride on Railroad Grade Road which runs beside the New River. They even teach you how to fly fish if you are so inclined!
Inside you?ll find luxury furnishings and one level living. The great room features a stacked stone fireplace with gas logs and a large screen TV with cable. There?s gorgeous wood floors and ceilings which bring out the cabin theme. Two bedrooms, each with their own bath are on either side of the great room, offers privacy for each. Both baths provide a step in shower. The master bedroom has a brand new log bed with cable TV for relaxing. The second bedroom also offers a queen bed. WiFi is also available.
Step out to the oversized deck for an evening of enjoyment and relaxation. The large bubbling Jacuzzi hot tub awaits you. Adarondack chairs and a gas grill are also available for enjoying the cool Carolina Mountain evenings.
There is easy paved street access to the cabin, but due to the steep incline of the driveway, an all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive vehicle is required or you can just park at the top of the driveway.

This is the coziest lil cabin in the world. The moment you walk in you begin to relax. Absolutely everything is provided to ensure a magical stay on the mountain , this was our second year and it won't be our last! This year we had the added treat of snow falling on the Hot Tub on Christmas Eve ?Robin's Nest
This rental was very clean and in a super secluded location. Overall, a great weekend escape, albeit too short. Only minor consideration is the driveway. It's short, but very steep. We were in a 4wd expedition so it wasn't too big of a deal, but could be for some. Paving it would help greatly. Certainly would not keep me from returning. Also, Carolina Mountain Properties was a pleasure to work with, very easy booking and check-in process.Contact Owner
