RENOVATED & RESTORED
With 2 new baths and remodeled kitchen, the cottage has dark hardwood floors throughout. Elegant white wallpapers and tall old-world ceilings in the living room and formal dining room.
GREAT KITCHEN:
The kitchen is bright and colorful, fully equipped for preparing a fresh seafood dinner -- new microwave, coffee maker, toaster-oven and blender for making spring soups or summer smoothies.
BEDROOMS:
A charming full bath and restored bedrooms are on the second floor. All have quirky and quaint ceilings and closets – typical of vintage Manteo – and are furnished with large comfy beds (California King or Queen) and Manteo antiques. The house is centrally heated and air conditioned.
EXTRAS:
A high-ceiling sun-filled library is perfect for your early morning coffee and the daily paper – hardcopy or electronically delivered via the internet connection. (wifi)

From the cottage, it is only a few steps to the Manteo public boat ramp, the Manteo Yacht Harbor and the waterfront and street front shops and cafes. During the summer months, a Saturday Farmer’s Market is held in the dockside public park – locally grown produce, local honey and local seafood. The nearby weather tower is a must for youngsters as the flags indicate the current (and changing) weather.
The following attractions are all within a short 5-minute drive: Island Farm, NC Aquarium, The Lost Colony and The Elizabethan Gardens.

This was better than we expected. Very clean, well kept cottage in Manteo. Within walking distance of so many fun things, and also just minutes drive to other beach activities in Nags Head and Kitty Hawk. All the local businesses were so nice and welcoming. When we come back to the area this will be the first place we will see if it is available.Robin S.
