Two Covered Decks with Awesome Mountain Views, Full Wet Bar, Steam Shower with heated floor, Media/Bedroom, Richly Decorated & Accessorized (not a stripped down rental) all the High Tech Gadgets to Entertain and keep you in Touch with Home. 3 Sound Surround Systems with outdoor speakers. Outdoor features include Horseshoe Pits and wood burning fire-pit with seating. Foosball gaming table in bar area.

Easy walk to Cedar Cliff Lake, Mill Pond Pavilion and Greeters Cottage. Located at the Entrance Gate allows for easy drives to Cashiers, Highlands and Sylva for Shopping and Dining. HIGH COUNTRY LODGE, is one the largest cottages on the property with 2,800 square feet of heated space and 500 square feet of covered deck space. The covered decks offer awesome mountain views. Sit by the outdoor fireplace and enjoy the mountain views. Let the kids roam around freely in this gated community. Hike from the cottage to the staffed Greeters Cottage, check out daily activities. Hike to Cedar Cliff Lake, a great hike for the not too serious hiker. For the serious hiking Jump Up trail, located right out the front door. Mill Pond Pavilion is close, a community building with paddle wheel, wishing well & stocked trout ponds, great place to watch the kids enjoy the great outdoors. Many kids have caught their first fish at the trout pond. You will be amazed to how kids take to this outdoor adventure community. Beautiful mountain stay

This was the perfect spot for a fall getaway weekend with our adult children and grandchildren. The house is spotless and had everything we needed for cooking in and even had portacribs and a high chair for the little ones and dog dishes for the family pets. Beautiful hiking and mountain views all around. The owner was very helpful and responsive to any of our questions. Lovely home and community- would definitely love to come back!

Perfect mountain getaway

We were 7 adults getting together for a little family time. The home was perfect with so many welcoming touches that it really didn�t feel like a rental. Mr. Clark was excellent with communication and details and there is a wealth of information at the cottage about the surrounding area and things to do. It was so peaceful and the bed so comfortable that we all left revived and well-rested. . Definitely stop at the grocery in Sylva on your way to the house and stock up because it�s about 25 min one way if you forget something!

Wedding weekend

House is approx 5 miles from clubhouse which is a hearty 35 min drive! Nice location at end of Street, close to greeter's cottage. The Clark's have so many thoughtful touches at the property, right down to coffee filters and spices! Great stay. Had a problem with AC unit that the owner was aware of but it happened over the weekend and could not get maintenance in during our stay. Luckily Sunday was much cooler so we opened the windows. Nice property for a family gathering.

Perfect Vacation!

We loved our family reunion getaway at the High Country Lodge. The accommodations were very clean and the house is well stocked for any needs. William is a wonderful host and we enjoyed all of his recommendations and his quick response to any questions we had. School had begun so it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves.
