This is a nice house, but the location is VERY MISLEADING. Not located in Gerton, NC at all. The location is Tuckasgee NC, so please consider that when booking. The location is about 90 minutes from Asheville, 30 minutes from Sylva and 45 minutes from Cashiers. If you are looking for a place that you can just hop over to Asheville, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to just disconnect and not be near anything, this is the place for you. The Bear Lake Reserve is very nice and the house we stayed in was very nice and comfortable.
