PROPERTY Description
My family has been coming to Beech Mountain for over 30 years; we have celebrated many holidays and enjoyed summertime fun in the mountains.
Whatever the season, Beech Mountain offers you an opportunity to create wonderful memories for your family!
This house is a ' REAL ROUND HOUSE ' with a view of 5 mountain ranges on a clear day.
While watching TV or having breakfast you can enjoy the 'Skyline View,' seeing the fog roll in and out, or just enjoy the lovely mountain air on a sunny day.
There is a 1/2 bath located upstairs. The loft is located upstairs, and has a twin bed for additional sleeping.
There are starter supplies: Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Dish Soap, Dishwasher Soap, Hand Soap, Laundry Detergent, Softener, and Dryer Sheets. (Be sure to bring more if your staying longer than a few days).
The bathrooms located downstairs have been updated, and the bedrooms have been given a new look, including all new bedding, for a great night's sleep.
The Kitchen offers a microwave, coffee maker, toaster/oven, stove/oven, and refrigerator. (There is no ice maker- only ice trays- you'll need to bring an extra ice bag if you wish). Kitchen supplies include new cookware, new utensils, new silverware, pots/pans.
On the deck there is a BBQ gas grill for summertime enjoyment. New benches for sitting on the upper and lower deck, with some fun colored patio furniture to enjoy the view!
Cable and WiFi are included.
As you go down the circular staircase, you can sit in the sitting area and watch TV, or read a book. There are 3 bedrooms located downstairs. There is one full bath/shower bathroom and a 1/2 bathroom. One bedroom has a full sized bed, and one bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has bunk beds. Great for kids.
The bottom porch wraps halfway around the house for a different view.
You can watch TV and enjoy the view in the living room, which includes a stone fire place. Aside from the house amenities, you can also enjoy the ease of driving to Fred's General Mercantile (very famous) (3.1 miles) , the Ski Village (2.1 miles) or Buckeye Lake Recreation Center (1.3 miles) .

We came for the view and it was amazing. We’ve been coming to Beech Mtn for our anniversary, and to escape the summer heat, for almost 25 years. This place by far had the best view yet. There is a nice table/umbrella with mesh chairs on the back porch. This is also probably the best stocked place we’ve stayed in So many thoughtful touches for the guests. Many things I pack were already here (flashlights, night lights). Loved the detailed instructions on how to operate the TV (always a challenge). There were hooks to hang towels or whatever on (my pet peeve). The kitchen was very well stocked, and included S&P and some basic spices. There was plenty of tupperware (often missing). Lots of cleaning supplies. Plastic wrap, tin foil, baggies, a water filter jug in the fridge. The house was very clean and comfortable. Much is obviously new. Fridge freezes ice quickly, so filling trays was not a problem. We slept very well. There were games and movies. We always miss Turner Classic movies when we come up here, and were so glad to find it included in the cable package.Great Views
If you want mountain views this is a wonderful location. The house was clean with new appliances. We met the property manager and she was very nice even though we inadvertently arrived early. You could tell that a lot of thought had gone into what visitors might need during their stay. The reason we are giving the house a four star rating instead of five stars is that there is no bedroom on the main level and the access to the lower floor is by way of a circular staircase or outside wooden steps both of which did present a problem to older travelers. For my part, I completely missed this in the subtle description. I believe that this could be disclosed in a clearer manner.Contact Owner
