Great hospitality!
We truly loved our stay in this quaint Lansing home! Dayna and Jack greeted us the day we arrived and ensured all our needs were met. Although we didn't want for anything, they are right across the street had we experienced any issues that required attention. Dayna was very accommodating with flexibility for check in and check out time. In all my experience on vrbo / home away, I don't think I've encountered a property owner who was quite as accommodating as she. The house is clean and quiet. Although AC is available, we didn't use it and instead slept with the windows open and enjoyed the sounds of the gentle flow of water in the small waterway outside the front door. Although there was no fenced yard for our dogs, the house is a 5 minute walk from the Creeper Trail Park, which has a great fenced dog area. Our dogs loved the park, as did our whole family. We even got to watch some anglers catching trout in the river that runs through the park! In addition to its proximity to the park, the house is a short walk from 2 restaurants and a small grocery store. 15 minutes drive away is West Jefferson, with a Wal-Mart, multiple grocery and drug stores, as well as a quaint downtown area. We enjoyed a day at Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia. A short (25 minute) drive took us to lovely hiking trails with unrivaled views. We were excited to see some wild horses while we were there, as well. Although we didn't bike the Creeper Trail, it's a close drive to this house, as well. This would be a great place to stay for a Creeper Trail excursion.

Sweet little spot
We used this property when we were in town for a wedding at On the Windfall. It was really convenient to both West Jefferson and the wedding venue It was a clean and well kept place. Good space for up to 5 people.

Awesome mountain getaway!
Dayna's home was very nice! Imaculately clean and very much accomodating! We couldn't have asked for better!!! My husband and I and friends had a great time! We ate at "Pie on the Mountain" pizza, delicious and friendly service. It is a small quaint little town with approximately 13 min. drive to West Jefferson that we LOVE! The home has a babbling brook in the front yard (just like a mountain home should) so we sat outside at night drinking a hot cup of java and enjoyed the sounds of the brook and had great conversation! Great screened in back porch that is private and you could still hear the brook! The only regrets of staying here is that it was not enough time and we had to leave, lol. We would no doubt love to go back! Thank you Dayna for a most awesome trip! Karen and Bob Dean
