Build a fire in the massive stone fireplace on the porch and snuggle up on those cool Carolina Mountain evenings. There's a swing, rockers, picnic table, an old church bench, chiminea and charcoal grill for barbecuing. You'll simply never want to leave.
Inside the cabin you'll find a cozy great room that features comfy furniture, a stone gas fireplace, satellite tv, dining table for along with a fully furnished kitchen and quaintly accented in antique pieces and accessories.
The master bedroom features a comfy king bed. The guest bedroom offers a queen bed and its own private porch for enjoying that early morning cup of coffee. The shared bath offers a step in shower.

Charming, Relaxing Hideaway
I had been watching this location for several years and never seemed to be able to find availability to rent when we decided on a vacation date but finally got to try it out this and BOY am I glad we did. The description of the cabin is accurate and it was very clean. I also found other's reviews to be helpful and accurate. The house is in a "neighborhood" but still very private and quiet. You don't really see the other houses. The property is well kept up and just down right relaxing and peaceful. We had a great time watching the birds and the chipmunks :-) scurry around. The creek was soothing and beautiful. There were ferns and hostas everywhere. We built a fire in the outdoor fireplace on the porch every evening. Also enjoyed the hot tub a few times. As mentioned by others, a pretty easy trip in to West Jefferson, Boone or Blowing Rock. Great place to go if you just want to get away and relax. Kitchen and bathroom are a bit small but just being my husband and I - we managed just fine. I had no problem with either. Property management very good to work with as well. Very smooth and easy transaction. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit it again.John C
